Not Your Dad’s Accountant!

Forget everything you think you know about accountants – my distinct approach to the often dry world of bookkeeping is both engaging and informative.  I am the Founder of Shoebox-Be-Gone and the creator of Shoebox Parties™ – a revolution in business bookkeeping.

I have a degree in accounting but also have varied work experience.  After high school I worked with special needs children before moving to the corporate world, where I spent 4 years in the banking industry.  During this time I went back to school to earn my accounting degree and have held various positions in my field since 2004.

I started doing freelance bookkeeping and taxes in 2007 and officially launched Shoebox-Be-Gone in sprint 2011.

I bring a fresh take on bookkeeping, finances, and entrepreneurship; I have been speaking for 15 years and current topics include taxes, leadership and self-motivation.  I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the podium as well as humor and anecdotes that are sure to engage any crowd.
